The blast door is used in pedestrian and vehicle thoroughfares in facilities where optimal air tightness and blast protection are required. All of the doors are available in sizes for personnel and vehicles and are used in hardened facilities with protective measures taken against air blasts.
Many of the door models also have high ratings against fire, bullets, intrusion and EMP. All blast doors are also rated as gas tight doors. The doors can be equipped with motorised operation, door monitoring systems safety devices etc. Most of the doors in the Daloc range are classified and certified; many have also been proven in full-scale tests.

Single leaf doors are supplied in protection Classes up to 10 MPa (1000 ton/m2 ). Operation of the doors is made easy by the single lever latching mechanism with multi tooth engagements.
Double leaf doors are supplied in Protection Classes up to 2 MPa (200 ton/m2). The doors are used in service tunnels and in larger shelters which can be used for car parking in peace time. Double-leaf doors with the centre post fixed to the leaf allow the time required for opening and closing to be minimized.
