The E/I blast protection valves are mainly used in defence bases which have stringent requirements for protection against shock waves and other mechanical weapon loads. The various kinds of E/I valves are similar in structure but are designed for different flows and impulse loads.
The valves can be used as inlet and outlet air valves.
Most of the blast protection valves are classified and certified; many have been proven in full-scale tests.
